　　伍奔腾先生, 美国建筑师协会会员（Benjamin Wood, AIA）于1984年从麻省理工大学取得建筑硕士学位, 他在中国的首个项目是位于上海的综合文化娱乐区-新天地。

　　Ben在中国以外最受瞩目的项目是位于芝加哥市的芝加哥熊队橄榄球主场体育馆。Ben作为主建筑设计师和前任合伙人Carlos Zapata一起设计的这座足球场被纽约时代杂志评为2003年度十大最优秀建筑之一。

　　　　Ben Wood STUDIO SHANGHAI 汇集了来自世界各地的优秀设计师，致力于改变现代中国的城市景观。我们在中国的第一个项目是上海新天地，一个由传统上海石库门建筑改造而成的综合商业文化街区。我们参与设计的项目种类多样，目前正在进行的大规模的项目包括：杭州，重庆，武汉和佛山的“新天地”项目，位于江苏省苏州的度假式综合项目“丹桂园”，上海古民居文化园项目， 北京牡丹园高档公寓住宅项目，北京前门天街商业项目，座落在上海北外滩的一个大型商业项目，以及在上海和北京的几个大型别墅和高层住宅项目。我们同样也在中国设计精品酒店和度假村。除了这些大规模项目，对于小项目，例如位于外滩的新黄浦私家会所，我们同样付诸于我们的热情，体现我们的专业精神。

　　Company Profile

　　Benjamin Wood, AIA, received his Masters in Architecture from MIT in 1984. His first commission in China was Xintiandi, a cultural entertainment district in Shanghai.

　　Ben’s most significant contribution on a major project outside of China was as the Chief Architect of New Soldier Field in Chicago, home of the Chicago Bears. Co-designed with his former partner Carlos Zapata, New Soldier Field was named by the New York Times as one of the ten best buildings of 2003.

　　Following the completion of the New Soldier Field, Ben set up a full time design studio in Shanghai. In the Fall of 2005 Delphine Yip, a long time associate, became Ben’s partner. Delphine is a graduate of the Harvard School of Design and is responsible for many of the Studio’s most notable projects.

　　As a team of multi-lingual designers from all over the world, Ben Wood STUDIO SHANGHAI has helped transform the urban landscape of modern China. After our first project in China Shanghai Xintiandi, a commercial cultural entertainment district with rebuilt traditional Shanghai Shi Ku Men architectures, we have been working on projects in a very diverse category. Large scale projects include mixed use projects like the “Tiandies” in Hangzhou, Chongqing, Wuhan and Foshan, Expo Chinese Housing Project on the Huangpu River, resort complex “Dan Gui Park” in Suzhou, commercial projects on Beijing Qianmen Boulevard, Shanghai north Bund and West side of Hangzhou, large villa/high rise residential complexes in Shanghai and Beijing, etc. We also work on various boutique hotels and resorts all over China. Our passion and professionalism not only reflect on the large scale projects but also on small project like the exclusive private club house for the New Huangpu Group on the bund.
