Completed in November 2000 and acquired by the Hines EmergingMarkets Fund in 2001, the building isthe Greater China Headquarters for Microsoft. One of Beijing’s finest office towers, the building was purchased from Hyundai Engineering & Construction Company and its Korean affiliates. In 2004, Hyundai Motor Corporation purchased the majority interest in the building, with Hines as its partner. Hines continues to perform all property management and leasing functions. When completed in 2009, 21st Century Tower will stand next to the world’s tallest building, the Shanghai World Financial Center, as Hines’ flagship in Shanghai.

　　2006年汉斯公司以资本金超过投资额50%的代价入主新江湾城C5地块。C5地块位于新江湾城核心位置。项目规划开发包括210,000平米的高档住宅，25,000平米的办公/酒店式公寓，90,000平米的商业设施以及25,000平米的酒店。项目将于2009年底完成，届时将成为新江湾城内的标杆性建筑。

Conceived by Hines, this major site in developed on a piece of undeveloped Greenfield land, with significant infrastructure investment by District Government. The project is financed by Hines and its local partner when completed in October 2009, the project will deliver 210,000 square meters of residences and 25,000 square meters of office/service apartment 90,000 square meters retail and 25,000 square meters of hotel.
