Construction Manager/工程经理

Job Title

　　Construction Manager, New Jiang Wan Project, Commercial Part, Shanghai Based.

　　Reports to Vice President or Senior Construction Manager

Job Functions

　　· Oversee all site-related construction matters for the commercial portion of New Jiangwan (200,000 square meters).

　　· Review all design development and construction drawings for coordination, cost-effectiveness, completeness and constructability.

　　· With Vice President or Project Manager, manage the design team prior to construction Manager staff of 10-20 assistant construction managers, engineers and staff on site.

　　· Run tendering and contracting process with general contractor and subcontractors.

　　· Oversee general contractor, Jian Li, quantity surveyor and architect and engineers during construction.

　　· Review and approve all construction-related payment requests.

　　· Prepare pre-construction budgets, estimates and schedules.

　　· Complete construction and occupancy on-time and on-budget, at top quality.

Requirements

　　· Fluency in English and Mandarin. Some Shanghainese desired but not required.

　　· Minimum 10 years construction experience, with emphasis on mixed –use projects including retail.

　　· IPrefer at least 5 years in China, with some Shanghai experience.

　　· Strong communication skills.

　　· Utmost integrity. /p>

　　· University degree in construction or design related field strongly preferred but will consider candidates with exceptional experience that do not meet this requirement.

　　· Demonstrated ability to manage large teams and meet schedules and budgets.
