•Responsible for heat exchanger reliability program •Troubleshooting and do retrofits for heat exchangers if any failure happens from both process configuration and equipment structure, and monitor heat exchanger performance during plant normal operation. •Review and optimize heat exchanger design for new projects based on operational performance. •Responsible to provide professional technical service to achieve success commissioning and start up to gasification project. •Responsible for providing troubleshooting service to improve the reliability in operation phase. •Technical communication with customer to support business negotiation. •Provide continuous technical support on gasification plants operation in safety, reliability and efficiency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
•B.S. degree or higher in Chemical Engineering /Process Engineering/Process Control or equivalent •A minimum of 5 years’ work experience for a chemical company with a significant amount of heat exchanger design and/or operation experience •Have a solid understanding of engineering thermodynamic, fluid flow and mass & heat transfer. •Extensive prior experience in process and heat exchanger modeling tools, preferably HTRI, Aspen EDR and Aspen Plus. •Experience in heat exchanger design and/or fabrication is a plus. •Demonstrate prior experience in heat exchanger trouble shooting and preservation. •Familiarity with industrial gas production technologies, coal gasification is plus. •Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
